The CCD conducts training using the, "Communicating with Authority" approach for improving public speaking of CA Members and staff. Testimonials from many CA members attest to the benefit achieved from improving their public speaking skills in allowing them to do their jobs better. The CCD has also conducted classes to improve English proficiency for CA members and staff, as well as for those who wish to improve computer skills to support the increasing need for email communication, on-line research, and correspondence. The CCD, in response to requests from CA Members, taught classes in improving negotiating skills, that are increasingly needed in the everyday work of CA constitutional drafting and legislative activities. Additional trainings are available to CA members and staff on an “as requested” basis. |
